100 Thieves signs new LCS Roster, featuring Ninja, DrLupo and more... /s

With lackluster placing in the LCS spring split, 100 Thieves seek to make key roster changes to improve. Despite picking up former world champion ADC Bae “Bang” Jun-sik, the team only won one game in the second half of the split. Through careful investigation using sources from Reddit and Twitch chat, it looks like 100 Thieves is making the first big move with their LCS team.

It appears 100 Thieves will be signing Twitch personalities Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, Jack “CourageJD” Dunlop, Jacob “Hysteria” Reiser, and Marcel “BasicallyIDoWrk” Cunningham to their starting Summer Split roster. Their prior LCS roster will be moved to substitute positions with this update. Former 100T mid-laner Yoo “Ryu” Sang-wook will also continue serving as the assistant coach.

Professional Career in the LCS

The past few years have been life-changing for many of the players. While riding on their prior success, the team now strive to pursue a professional career as League of Legends players. With unpleasant Fortnite updates, it looks like the LCS may be a better career choice for these content creators. Ninja had a few motivating words to say to his teammates for their first scrimmage together.

Many of them have past experience with high skill level play. Some also have actually competed before in the professional scene. Because of that, this will be something easy to transition into. With Ninja, CourageJD, DrLupo, Hysteria, and BasicallyIDoWrk on 100 Thieves’ 2019 upcoming Summer Split lineup, many have compared the roster to teams like SK Telecom T1, Griffin, and Team Liquid.

Terms like “god squad” have reportedly been thrown around. Ninja also believes this roster is “the newest NA LCS contender.” Finally, LCS fans can rest easy knowing that that they have a world championship level team to bring the trophy home.
