CDL Call of Duty League announces sponsorship deals for inaugural season

The Call of Duty League has announced its sponsorship deals going into the inaugural season. Some of the top brands it’s working with include SCUF Gaming, PlayStation, and Astro Gaming. This is in addition to Mountain Dew Amp Game Fuel and the U.S. Air Force.

CDL sponsorships out in full force

SCUF Gaming is providing official CDL controllers to the competitors. Duncan Ironmonger, SCUF Gaming CEO and founder, noted how esports and Call of Duty are deeply rooted “in our core DNA,” and he’s thrilled to see the Call of Duty League launch.

“Since inception, we’ve been dedicated to supporting the growth of esports(,) creating the features that have made SCUF an extension of the player to maximize their performance,” Ironmonger said.

As for PlayStation, it brings the PlayStation 4 in as the league’s official platform. The sponsor is participating in the Call of Duty Challengers and League Weekend events as well.

ASTRO Gaming is playing a role in the esport by providing headsets to the CDL and sponsoring new video content. This is in addition to sponsoring the season’s MVP award.

Meanwhile, Mountain Dew Amp Game Fuel is returning to feature itself as the official drink of Call of Duty fans. This multi-year sponsorship extends to the Call of Duty League itself, the City Circuit, and Challengers.

“We’re honored to continue our partnership with the Call of Duty League in celebration of players around the world and their love of the iconic game,” said Erin Chin, the senior director of marketing at Mountain Dew. Chin added that he’s thrilled to deliver partnerships and experiences for the ones who inspired the Mountain Dew Amp Game Fuel drink in the first place.

The inaugural Call of Duty League season is happening now. Fans can catch all the action over on YouTube or live by purchasing a ticket
