COD Mobile celebrates Halloween

“Starting today there will be limited-time content releasing throughout the event period. Check out plenty of new treats to acquire, new skills to master in BR, new limited-time modes, and more,” writes the Call of Duty: Mobile community update. “The team dug up something early for everyone, so enjoy a Halloween themed version of Black Ops 2′ Standoff map before the ghosts and ghouls take over. Find it now in TDM, S&D, or Domination.”

After achieving 100 million downloads in its first week, this update brings even more content to the popular Call of Duty: Mobile game. In addition to the customized Standoff map, the Sniper Only Mode and Sniper Only Challenge have also begun. There will then be an earnable Sparrow Operator Skill starting on Oct. 21, where players get a bow to use.

The mobile first-person shooter game now has a themed UI. The music is changed to fit in, along with a Halloween-themed ID collection event. Cosmetic changes have been added to weapons, items, and operators as well. Other additions in this update include a limited-time Hardpoint game mode, where players secure a part of the map and repel incoming enemies. The previously leaked battle royale Airborne class that enables gliding and the Molotov cocktail score streak are also now available.

Players that download the update before Oct. 27 will also earn some in-game rewards. These include a free battle crate, weapon during the login event, and epic weapon experience card for 500 XP. Players can find out more by checking out the patch notes in-game. Activision will also publish a blog post with the full details on Oct. 21.
