Leak season is in full swing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. After remaining on the quiet side since its announcement, rumors about Modern Warfare‘s Multiplayer are now running rampant throughout the community.
This is an unprecedented year for Call of Duty. With every other title in the series, we’ve seen some kind of gameplay before July. Whether it be a trailer or actual in-game footage, there has always been something for fans to dissect. However, with Modern Warfare, Activision and Infinity Ward have stayed suspiciously silent. That said, even with their quietude, we do have some early leaks from reputable sources.
Modern Warfare weapons list confirmed?
Earlier today, we reported on TheGamingRevolution’s video that went through all of the supposed killstreaks in Modern Warfare. This YouTuber claims to have a source close to the development of Modern Warfare. While we can’t take any of this as definite fact, TheGamingRevolution does have a reputation for accurate leaks.
In a followup video to the leaked killstreak list, TGR went through 95% of the weapons that will be featured in Modern Warfare. Let’s take a look at those weapons and which categories they will be placed in.
Note: Some of these weapon names currently possess code names due to licensing restrictions.

- AK47 (Can be turned into an SMG with one attachment)
- Famas (Triple Burst, can be switched to Full-Auto with select-fire attachment)
- HK433 (Lynx from Modern Warfare Remastered)

According to TheGamingRevolution, this list is 95% accurate. Some of the weapons will have different names come launch, though. Also, the game could still add some weapons between now and October 25.
Nevertheless, for fans of classic Call of Duty, this weapon list looks like heaven. There are a plethora of fan-favorite weapons from the series’ past that haven’t made an appearance in years.
Hopefully, we will see a trailer or gameplay reveal for Modern Warfare‘s Multiplayer soon. Until then, however, we have these leaks to keep us entertained.
