COD Mobile Season 3 Battle Pass Scrapyard maps

After a bit of a delay, Season 3 has been released in COD Mobile. Most of the content coming with this update was revealed last week, but there are some new tidbits we didn’t know about beforehand. From new Operators to a rework of the Battle Pass, this is one of the most ambitious seasons Tencent has launched. There’s a lot to cover, but we’ll hit all of the big-ticket items. If you want to read the full patch notes, you can do so on Reddit. Let’s dive in and see what Season 3 has to offer in COD Mobile.

COD Mobile Season 3 content

One of the biggest aspects of the new season that players find interesting is the Battle Pass. Complete with tons of cosmetic rewards, there’s both a free and premium version, with the premium costing $10. However, players will need to wait until Jan. 20 for the pass to drop.

Though, we are able to see some of the rewards coming with the Battle Pass. Operators FTL and Phantom from Infinite Warfare will make their debut as well as Type-25 and Chicom variants. Unlike previous seasons, this Battle Pass will only feature 50 tiers as opposed to 100.

As for the maps coming in Season 3, fan-favorite Scrapyard makes its debut. Tencent also mentioned that Cage, a compact and fast-paced map, will be coming later in the season. From the sound of it, Cage sounds like a perfect map for both casual and ranked play.

Alongside the maps, Rapid Fire mode comes to COD Mobile multiplayer. Doubling down on the action-packed nature, Rapid Fire grants players unlimited ammo and quicker Operator ability cooldowns.

COD Mobile also has a new mode arriving with Season 3. Now live in-game is 20v20 Warfare, which pits two teams of 20 against each other on the battle royale map. The first team to 150 kills wins the match, but there are unlimited respawns and loadout saving.
