efootball pes 2020 data pack 3.0 konami

Yet another update is about to drop in eFootball PES 2020. Named Data Pack 3.0, the update is allegedly to be rolled out next week. What can you expect from the update?

Data Pack 2.0 release

Based on previous Data Packs that made it to the PES franchise, a lot of content is most likely coming our way. In the last update, Data Pack 2.0, not only did we receive the Italian Serie BKT league, remodeled player faces, and updated strips / boot / ball designs, but also important gameplay changes. These included goalkeeper fouls, fixing the super cancel technique, and making NPC players be more aggressive to run after loose balls. These updates improved the gameplay substantially, and the cosmetic additions were a nice cherry on the cake.

Data Pack 2.0 brought the Italian second league to PES 2020.

Expectations for Data Pack 3.0

With Data Pack 3.0 on the horizon, so far there have not been many clues given by PES developers about what to expect. The official eFootball PES tweet does inform that starting Monday they will show some “top content” to the fans. What belongs in the upcoming data pack is currently a mystery. However, basing on previous data pack releases, we are sure to see cosmetic updates, new pairs of shoes, and perhaps footballs and updated player faces of partner clubs such as Juventus or Manchester United.

What the fanbase is bothered about, however, is the amount of scripting in this year’s PES installment. Giving NPC teams an unfair edge by boosting their speed or making them take free-kicks that are impossible to save are a few examples that players have taken note of. Unfortunately, it is likely that this will be difficult to change without a major overhaul of the video game. It would be, nevertheless, a nice surprise if the developers addressed this issue.

I like to give out free AK-47 headshots in CS: GO, spend some quality time in the kitchen marinating a tender chicken breast and approximately 3 times a week I lift some relatively heavy metal stuff at the gym. Oh, and I also like to write about e-sports and everything related to gaming. Who knew one could have such contrasting interests?
