After rumours of ex-Virtus.pro star Michał “MICHU” Müller joining Envy, the roster seems to be complete with two more additions, according to the ESEA site. The new CSGO Envy medley also features Kaleb “moose” Jayne and Buğra “Calyx” Arkın. The roster will compete for an appearance at ESL One Rio Major through the Open Qualifier.

Roster troubles, Envy left with two

The Envy roster has had some troubles keeping players on the team. The team benched Bradley “ANDROID” Fodor as well as Jacob “FugLy” Medina at the start of the 2020 CSGO season. Before the start of the year, the roster also lost Sam “s0m” Oh to the newly formed Gen.G organization.

The only two remaining players on the roster were ex-Renegades AWPer Noah “Nifty” Francis and ex-Singularity player Ryan “ryann” Welsh. Left without three core team members, the team’s CSGO season got off to a questionable start.

MICHU, moose, and Calyx join up

The new arrivals feature MICHU, moose and Calyx. MICHU is coming from the ex-Virtus.pro team after the organization acquired the AVANGAR roster. Meanwhile, Canadian 21-year-old moose is coming from being a stand-in for Singularity. The roster competed at WINNERS League Season 3 as well as the DreamHack Open Anaheim qualifier. Calyx, the Turkish addition, is most known for his time with Space Soldiers before the roster decided to separate from the organization. Calyx then briefly competed with Windigo Gaming.

The aforementioned players have yet to officially make statements regarding their involvement with Envy.

Envy’s roster for ESL One Rio Major Open Qualifiers looks as follows:

  • Ryan “ryann” Welsh
  • Noah “Nifty” Francis
  • Michał “MICHU” Müller
  • Kaleb “moose” jayne
  • Buğra “Calyx” Arkın
