Commander 2020 Outcast Magic: The Gathering Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths spoilers MTG Arena spoilers Planeswalkers

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is only a few days away, and with it comes a new Set Mastery. Just like previous set releases, players will have the option to play through the regular progression path or go with the paid option. Along with a new Set Mastery, Magic: The Gathering Arena is releasing two new bundles for pre-sale that come loaded with fun stuff.

Ikoria Set Mastery revealed

Much like previous sets, those who purchase the Ikoria Mastery Pass can earn more rewards. This pass will set you back 3,400 gems or $19.99. As soon as you purchase the Mastery Pass, it will unlock the Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast avatar, the Regal Cub pet, and the Greatshark basic sleeve. As you play games and earn XP, though, you can earn extra rewards. These include the following:

  • 25 card styles
  • 25 Mastery Orbs
  • 10 mythic rare Individual Card Rewards
  • 20 booster packs (x4 GRN, x4 RNA, x2 WAR, x3 M20, x3 ELD, x3 THB)
  • 4 Additional Cub Mutations
  • Level 70 Exquisite Sleeve (Exquisite = Card Sleeve with VFX)
  • Level 80 and Beyond: Uncommon ICR (1:20 Upgrade Rate)
  • 4,000 Gold
  • 800 Gems
  • Draft Token

The biggest change to the Ikoria Set Mastery is how Wizards of the Coast plans to handle the adorable new pet. This time around, the pet can mutate into different forms. Wizards did not reveal what the Regal Cub can change into, but it will hopefully stay cute!

Arena pre-order bundles

For the release of Ikoria, Arena will put up two bundles for pre-order. The first is the Lukka Play Bundle, which includes:

  • 10 bonus Set Mastery levels
  • 2 Sealed tournament tokens
  • 1 Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast card
  • Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast card style

Meanwhile, the Vivien Play Bundle includes:

  • 50 Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths packs
  • 1 Vivien, Monsters Advocate card
  • Vivien, Monsters Advocate card style
  • 10 Godzilla Series Monster card style

Players only have nine more days to earn XP for the Theros Beyond Death Mastery Pass, so get those games in now. Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths releases in Arena on April 16, and the spoiler season is well underway. For more Magic: The Gathering news, make sure to follow Daily Esports.
