FaZe Clan and Fnatic make it through to CSGO ESL Pro League Finals

FaZe Clan and Fnatic will be present at CSGO‘s ESL Pro League Finals after topping Group B of Round 2 of the qualifications. The two CS powerhouses have defeated Vitality and HellRaisers, both of which failed to qualify for the event taking place in Odense, Denmark.

FaZe Clan out to prove their worth

FaZe Clan swept through the qualifications by overcoming both HellRaisers and Vitality. Both best-of-three matchups ended in 2-0 victories for FaZe.

FaZe have picked up steam lately. Following a disappointing overall 2019, the team finally found victory at Blast Pro Series Copenhagen. It seems like bringing Marcelo “coldzera” David on board is reaping rewards, as the team is finally showing some teeth on the stage. Their presence at ESL Pro League Finals will definitely be felt across the event, as they look sharp and ready.

NiKo’s and coldzera’s teamwork seems to be working fantastically for FaZe Clan.

Fnatic still a team to overcome

Fnatic also successfully overcame HellRaisers and Vitality to qualify. That said, the wins were both 2-1 – a little less impressive than FaZe Clan’s. Nevertheless, wins are wins, and we are going to see Fnatic compete in the Finals with the other top 10 teams attending the event.

Following a major overhaul of the organization, Fnatic have clinched the #3 spot on the global rankings by HLTV. It seems that the roster shuffle and changes within the organization have been more than beneficial for the legendary CSGO team. The Swedish team found victory at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019 and placed second at IEM Sydney 2019 as well as the relatively recent StarSeries i-League Season 8. With such form, we are sure to see Fnatic go far and wide at the ESL Pro League Finals come December.

I like to give out free AK-47 headshots in CS: GO, spend some quality time in the kitchen marinating a tender chicken breast and approximately 3 times a week I lift some relatively heavy metal stuff at the gym. Oh, and I also like to write about e-sports and everything related to gaming. Who knew one could have such contrasting interests?
