Friday Fortnite official bracket announced by UMG and KEEMSTAR

Friday Fortnite

The return of Friday Fortnite is in full swing as the full bracket is now set. Sponsored by KEEMSTAR, FaZe Banks, and UMG Gaming, Friday Fortnite will take place on Friday, May 31 at 4:00 PM ET.

Originally taking place in 2018, Friday Fortnite allowed many popular streamers to showcase their skills. At the time, it was one of the only online Fortnite tournaments taking place. However, once it started to gain in popularity, Epic Games stepped in and set a strict set of guidelines for this kind of event. Included in these rules is that the limit for prize money is capped at $20,000.

The recent FaZe/Tfue drama presented the perfect opportunity for KEEMSTAR to revamp Friday Fortnite. Tfue in part made his name known when he and his FaZe partner Cloakzy won almost every tournament. Neither of them will appear in this event, though, for obvious reasons.

With all of this drama going on, FaZe Banks and KEEMSTAR decided to restart this event using “all of the” money FaZe took from Tfue in their time together. Totaling $60,000, Friday Fortnite is back for at least the next three Fridays ($20,000 each week), with many top competitors and influencers vying for the prize.

The official bracket for Friday Fortnite

KEEMSTAR has made it known to everyone that Friday Fortnite is more about popularity than skill. As such, some of the top-ranked Fortnite professionals in the world won’t see invites, while some top YouTubers — like Dolan Dark or RiceGum — will. Though that might ruffle some feathers, it is solely up to KEEMSTAR since he is organizing a majority of the event along with UMG.

Here you can find the official bracket for May 31’s Friday Fortnite tournament.

As you can see, there are quite a few noteworthy matchups. From RiceGum facing off against MrBeast to FaZe Cizzorz and Ghost Bizzle playing Nate Hill and FaZe Funk, this should be a spectacle.

The format for this event is double-elimination. Each round is determined by whichever team earns more combined eliminations in two games of regular Fortnite.

You can watch the event on the UMG Gaming Twitch channel or any of the participants’ Twitch or YouTube channels.
