In a skit featuring Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez Santiago talking to the team’s management, G2 revealed Hafu has joined the organization. Hafu ended the Teamfight Tactics beta with the highest MMR. Similarly, G2 Esports is considered one of the world’s best League of Legends teams with its victory during the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational.
“I’m super excited to be joining G2 and doing the team proud,” said Hafu. “For the next year, I just want to do what I love, which is to stream, hang out with chat and constantly improve in Teamfight Tactics with G2 beside me the whole time.”
Hafu is both a streamer and a competitive player. She is known for her skill in games like World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Bloodline Champions, and most recently Teamfight Tactics. While she is currently only a streamer on Twitch, Hafu hopes to compete professionally in Teamfight Tactics in the future. She has also competed under Cloud9 for Hearthstone in 2014 and 2015.
“Hafu joins G2 with an amazing legacy of top-level play in so many games like TFT, and Hearthstone. Even cooler is that we both got our start in esports through World of Warcraft, so I couldn’t be happier to have her join G2 Esports,” said Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez, the CEO of G2 Esports. “I know many of the #G2ARMY are already her fans and am certain that she will entertain and educate all of us on what it is to be at the top of the TFT ladder. I have no doubt she’ll teach me a thing or two about TFT.”
Hafu, like many other Teamfight Tactics players, has multiple accounts in the Challenger rank. She currently streams almost every night on her Twitch channel. What rank are you in Teamfight Tactics?
