New Golden Guardians Academy additions

Darshan “Darshan” Upadhyaya will play as a top laner for Golden Guardians Academy. Between 2014 and 2019, he played under the Counter Logic Gaming esports organization. He was on both the main lineup and the Academy roster. While on CLG, the team made it to the World Championships in the 2015 and 2016 Summer Splits. They also placed second at the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational, losing to SKT. However, the team did not do as well afterward and he was placed onto the Academy roster during the 2019 Spring Split.

Victor “FBI” Huang is the starting bot laner for Golden Guardians Academy. He started playing League of Legends competitively in 2017. He has since competed under organizations like Sin Gaming, ORDER, and Bombers. While on his most recent team, they achieved a first place finish during the 2019 OPL Spring Split. However, the team did not manage to qualify for the 2019 Mid-Season Invitational. They ended up tied with Isurus Gaming, with 2 wins and 4 losses.

Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun is the support role for Golden Guardians Academy. Similar to fellow teammate Darshan, he also played under Counter Logic Gaming for an extended amount of time. During the time Darshan went to CLG Academy, huhi went to 100 Thieves instead. While on 100 Thieves, he played on the main roster for a portion of the split. Afterward, he was moved to the 100 Thieves Academy team so they could move up an Academy player. After the 2019 LCS Spring Split where 100 Thieves finished in the last place, huhi was released from the roster.
