Hearthstone esports has just announced Masters Tour Arlington, which is scheduled to take place in January 2020. Located in Texas, Esports Stadium Arlington is scheduled to host over 300 invited players for Masters Tour Arlington. At the stadium, Hearthstone players will duke it out against others for a part of the $250,000 USD base prize pool.
As for the qualification period, it is scheduled to begin this Oct 3 and go through Nov 24. Players who wish to register for Masters Qualifiers Arlington may do so through Battlefy. The official rules for 2020 may also be accessed on Hearthstone‘s own rules and policies page.
Hearthstone players can obtain an invitation to Masters Tour Arlington by winning an online Masters Qualifier between the aforementioned dates. Another way to gain an invite is to win an on-site Masters Qualifier while at Masters Tour Bucharest.
Competitors who place as a top-eight player five times in Masters Qualifiers Arlington will also receive an invitation. This reduction from six to five times reflects one of the major recent changes in Hearthstone‘s Masters Qualifiers.
In addition, Masters Tour Arlington invitations will be given out to players who reach the top 16 Legend rank in Hearthstone ladder this October and November. Of course, if one is a Hearthstone Grandmaster, then they also get an invitation.
For fans and players alike who would like to watch all the action, they can visit Hearthstone’s official Twitch channel. The channel is scheduled to livestream the event between Jan 31 and Feb 2 next year. The schedule of the event may also be viewed on the Masters Tour Arlington page.
In the meantime, Hearthstone fans can catch up on the esports journeys of many prominent players, such as Mark “Ike” Eichner, Torben “Viper” Wahl, Kacper “A83650” Kwieciński, David “Justsaiyan” Shan, and Muzahidul “Muzzy” Islam, here at Daily Esports.
