As the HCT 2019 World Championship approaches, so does the start of the next Hearthstone Masters Qualifiers and later Masters Tour, which will take place in Seoul, South Korea.
“Widely considered the epicenter of esports, there is no better place to throw a massive Hearthstone tournament,” the announcement read.
This follows the final qualifier for the Hearthstone Masters Tour in the Las Vegas location happening on April 28.
The epic battle for the lion’s share of $250,000 is scheduled to begin on May 7. This qualifying period also has 14 days for registration prior to the start of the event, meaning players who are interested in participating can register on April 23.
Hearthstone’s Masters Tour in Seoul is scheduled to take place over three days. The first day will feature seven rounds of Swiss pairings. Players who wish to advance to day two, which will consist of five Swiss pairing rounds, must win four or more matches.
After, the top eight players will play in two groups in a dual-tournament format and duke it out in best-of-five matches. These final matches are scheduled to take place on August 18 at OGN Studios.
