Hyper Scape Technical Test Twitch Drops beta

Ubisoft’s brand new FPS battle royale Hyper Scape is out in the open after a few days of waiting. The game was originally leaked by esports insiders but is now being shown off by huge Twitch streamers. However, Hyper Scape is not open to the public per se. Instead, Ubisoft has opted to go the Riot Games/Valorant route by using Twitch Drops. Certain streamers will have “Drops Enabled” on their channel. If you’re lucky enough to earn a drop, you gain access to the Hyper Scape Technical Test. So, how can you do this?

Hyper Scape Twitch Drops

If you followed along during the Valorant Closed Beta, then you’ll understand how this process works. If not, don’t worry, because we have a full guide on how to earn Twitch Drops for Ubisoft’s new FPS.

First, you want to make sure that you’re tuning into a stream that has “Drops Enabled”. You can find this below their icon and stream title once you navigate to their channel. For example, Turner “Tfue” Tenney has drops on his channel at the time of writing.

Once you start watching a stream with drops on, you need to link your Ubisoft account with your Twitch account. At this time, you can only connect your accounts on PC, so consoles will have to wait. Click on the “Account Link” button to link your accounts. You should find yourself on a website that has a “Get Started” link.

After you click on “Get Started”, simply follow the steps laid out for you. If everything goes right, you will see a screen that states you have enabled Twitch Drops. You can see an example below.

That’s the last step in ensuring you have Twitch Drops enabled for Hyper Scape! Then, you need only watch channels with Drops Enabled. Eventually, hopefully, you’ll receive a drop that allows you access to the game. The Technical Test for the game will last until July 7 for the U.S. and July 8 for the EU. You can find official dates and times for the test below.
