Great news for those who enjoy the John Wick movies as well as Fortnite – now you can have both at once. Thanks to a new collaboration, Fortnite players now have an exclusive new John Wick skin as well as a limited time event with challenges to complete. It looks pretty sweet, and you can check out the announce trailer below.
Players have been asking for this for a while. With the latest John Wick film – John Wick: Chapter Three – out this weekend, it seems fitting for it to come out now.
Epic Games and Fortnite are no strangers when it comes to collaborations. We saw it with Marvel and the Thanos events, and now we’re seeing it with Wick. Many fans are speculating online that this could open the door for even more franchises to enter Fortnite. Game of Thrones immediately comes to mind as a candidate.
Would this mean that Epic Games is selling itself out to keep the game fresh? That’s up to players to decide. Even if it does, this sort of thing also gives the game a breath of fresh air and entices players to purchase those special limited-time skins. Epic’s sales are sure to rise.
Tick Tock, Mr. Wick.
The High Table has opened a new contract. It’s up to you to collect the bounty. Stay alive and collect gold tokens by eliminating the other bounty hunters. The first one to fulfill the order wins, but be careful how far ahead you get, as you will become a target for everyone else.
During the event, players will also earn free rewards that include the Gold Token Back Bling, One Shot Glider, Boogeyman Wrap, and some sweet bonus XP. You can also check out the patch notes for more detailed information.
The shop, of course, will also feature the John Wick Set now. Included in that is his outfit and a Simple Sledge Pickaxe. Now fans of the film can really be Wick in-game too. Let us know what you think and if you plan on purchasing the set.[Source]
