Along with the League of Legends 2019 Mid-Season Invitational that started on May 1, the Mid-Season Trials event has also begun. The Mid-Season Trials event allows LoL players to choose one of four houses or factions to represent while MSI is happening. These four include the Council, United, Faceless, and Warband.

With each house, players have a list of missions they can complete to earn points. Players will represent each house with a unique player icon for each house. By completing these missions and also watching games, each house will rise and fall depending on point totals. Similar to the house system in Harry Potter, the standings of each house will be displayed at the end of every week.
Those in the winning house will receive a point bonus for their placing. Each week, the point amount that is awarded to players will be increased. This way, even if a particular house is significantly lower than another, it still has a chance of catching up.
At the end of the Mid-Season Trials event, those in the final winning house receive prizes. These prizes include a golden house emote, an in-game finisher animation, and a similarly-styled icon. Players will also be able to redeem their points or tokens for other loot. These include loot boxes, golden chromas, and more in-game cosmetics.
For 1650 RP, players can buy a Trials Pass that enables earning tokens during the event. The Trials Pass also includes a 2019 Trials Pass Icon, 4 Mid-Season Invitational 2019 Orbs, and 200 Trials Tokens.
Check out the Event Shop offerings:
100 Prestige Points + Icon (2200 Tokens)
Gold Chromas and Icons (300 Tokens Each)
Borders and Icons (250 Tokens Each)
Emotes (75 Tokens Each)
The event missions start on May 8 at 4 p.m. EST and go until June 3 at 3 a.m. EST. However, items can still be purchased in the store until June 18. Which house are you joining for the Mid-Season Trials event?
