After a brief downtime, the latest patch for Magic: The Gathering Arena went live just after 11:30 a.m. EST on May 2, 2019. Notable inclusions in the update are several new card styles in the store, and an updated Pteramander spell counter.

Pteramander UI update

By far the most functional improvement included in this patch is the addition of a spell counter to Pteramander while on the field, as seen here:

Mono-blue players of Magic: The Gathering Arena, rejoice. Now, while Pteramander is in play, you can easily keep track of the number of instant and sorceries in your graveyard without opening it up and scrolling through it turn after turn. Just subtract the displayed number on Pteramander from your lands in play, and you have the Adapt cost.

Get out there and enjoy the latest changes!
