OG is one of the teams to watch at the Manila Majors.
This team consists of exceptional play makers and watching them fight 5 v 5 is easy on the eyes. OG bursted on to the Dota 2 Scene with a surprising win at the Frankfurt Majors and with the exception of the Shanghai Major they have finished in the top 4 of all the tournaments in which they have participated. They enter the Manila Major on the back of defeating a resurgent Na’vi without losing a game and also after defeating Newbee who were on a 29 game winning streak on course to finishing 3rd in the EPICENTER: Moscow.
OG consists of some of Dota 2’s best players. None the least, the star man Amer “Miracle-“ al-Barqawi, the only 9k mmr player in the world, with signature heroes like Anti-Mage , Invoker and Shadow Fiend. Miracle is truly a miracle man helping his team comeback from the most unlikely situations, he is definitely one the player to watch during the tournament. They have a safe lane carry in Johan “BigDaddy” Sundstein who plays a variety of heroes and is well known for his Meepo. The off-lane role is often filled by David “MoonMeander” Tan with Beastmaster, Dark Seer or Nature’s Prophet. The Support Role on the team are fulfilled by Andreas “Cr1t-“ Franck Nielsen who’s signature heroes are IO, Rubick and Bane. The other support role is for the team captain Tal “Fly” Aizik who’s signature heroes are Rubick, Dazzle and Undying.
Although OG is a good all round team, they rely heavily on Miracle. Og draft around Miracle to protect him and give him enough farm to carry them to victory. Opposition teams often try to shut down their star player, but often fail because OG manage to protect him. OG have high chances of winning the Manila Major. If they do not win, they will place fairly high in the tournament. Make sure you catch their matches.
