Is Team Liquid your new European powerhouse?

Team Liquid is one of the strongest European teams in the Dota 2 Scene. They are a strong team who has TI winners and amazing play-makers in their line-up. Dota 2 analyst Allan “Nahaz” Bester foresees Team Liquid winning the Manilla Major. “I think it has to be Team Liquid” he told Ollie Ring in a Red Bull eSports article ¹.

The European powerhouse consists of Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen playing as the safelane carry, his most iconic heros are Lone Druid, Lycan and Slark. The next member of Team Liquid is Adrian “FATA” Trinks who plays Mid, FATA plays a brutal Invoker and Tinker. Moving to the offlane, Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Borislavov plays an amazing Beastmaster, Nature’s Prophet and Dark seer. The last 2 members of Liquid are Kuro “kuroky” Takhasomi and Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka. Kuroky plays a great support, with a hero pool consisting of Io, Doom and Ancient Apparition. JerAx who is the second support of Team Liquid plays most roaming supports including Tusk, Earth Spirit and Phoenix.

With a current 5 win streak which consists of beating NewBee, OG, Evil Geniuses and CompLexity they are in good shape for the Major. They recently won EPICENTER: Moscow after a 3:2 victory against NewBee (the team that went on a 29 game win steak). Prior to that, they came 2nd place in ESL One Manilla 2016 and also placed 2nd in the Shanghai Major 2016.

To end, Team Liquid is expected to place highly this Major, their play style is unique and works well. They are a team that works well with each other and they play to their strengths and weaknesses. If they play this tournament like they played EPICENTER, they are sure to blow everyone away. If FATA makes the plays, MATUMBAMAN gets the farm and JerAx gets the early kills, they are sure to win the games.
