Manila Masters 2017

ESL and Mineski Events Team announced the most awaited and biggest tournament in Dota Scene this year.

With a pool price of 250,000 USD, the Manila Masters is the newest huge tournament.

Although the distribution of this prize pool is not revealed yet, it will be a pretty serious inspiration for the eight teams that will battle it out in Manila. That’s right, eight of the best Dota 2 teams in the planet will fight for “the lion’s share”.

The first team to get an official invitation is, *que drum roll*….Evil Geniuses! The 2015 TI winners already packed their bags, and bought I heart Philippine t-shirts.

Four other invitations will be of the direct invite nature, and the rest of the teams will have to qualify. Details will be revealed in the following days.

This expected epic brawl of these giant teams, has set a date, so clear your schedule boys and girls. It will happen on 24-26 of May, and it will take stage in the Mall of Asia Arena.

Ticket reservations

For all of you who want to join the crowd, and experience the happiness up-close and personal. Tickets are on sale from February 24. Click Here

Tickets prices start from 5 USD, sitting in the upper ring of the arena, 30 USD in the middle ring section, 40 USD in lower ring section, and 150 USD for the premium ticket, for premium seating. All of the tickets have a 3 day access, and premium tickets have free food and drink,  exclusive signing sessions and a “goodie bag”, We don’t know what’s in it, but it’s probably good. Duh.

Although usually Manila tournaments attract big crowds, seems like ESL and MET have decided to use only half of the arena.

The hype has begun, and we’re pretty sure our anticipation will be justified when the tournament begins, because some big names of the Dota scene will follow EG.
