The top eight teams of the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship Shadowlands Circuit continued to duke it out against each other in the race to the Season 1 Finals, with Method NA coming out on top.
On March 27, the teams began their second week of round-robin matches.
Method NA remains undefeated
By the end of the day, Method’s North American players earned a score of 3-0. Last weekend, Method was also undefeated with perfect scores against their opponents on both days, ending at 6-0.
Over in the European Circuit, Skill Capped, Creed and Tegridy Damp took first, second and third place respectively. Although they all had match scores of 2-0, Skill Capped had the best game record with a score of 6-1.
These matches will be followed up by more intense rounds on March 28.
The Season 1 Finals approach
After these matches, the World of Warcraft Arena World Championship teams will take a one week break. According to the schedule, the next set of games will resume between April 10 and 11.
When four weekends of matches are completed, the top four teams of each region will receive an invitation to the Season 1 Finals. Those that end up in the top six of the Season 1 Circuit will also have a place in the Season 2 Circuit.
However, this does not mean the journey will end for the remaining teams. The bottom two teams of the Season 1 Circuit will have a chance to prove themselves again in the Relegation Cup. The best two teams of each region from this tournament will get to fight in the Season 2 Circuit.
After the completion of the Season 1 and 2 Circuits, the best World of Warcraft teams will clash in the Arena World Championship 2021 Grand Finals.
Fans and supporters will be able to catch the action over on the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel.
