Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered Activision leak TheGamingRevolution

The past month or so has been rife with rumors surrounding the future of Call of Duty. From the leaks regarding 2020 and 2021 titles to the different remasters, no one’s quite sure what’s in store for the future. However, YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, the community’s foremost authority when it comes to leaks, was seemingly correct about Modern Warfare 2 Remastered releasing. Now with that information out though, he’s saying Activision is working on another remastered title, being Modern Warfare 3.

Activision working on Modern Warfare 3 Remastered?

The community was a bit disappointed earlier this week with the revelation that Modern Warfare 2 Remastered would apparently just be the Campaign mode. While the multiplayer maps could come at a later time, they will likely arrive inside Modern Warfare multiplayer.

Though this was a letdown, it appears Activision isn’t through remaking old titles. According to TheGamingRevolution, the publishers are actively working on a remastered version of Modern Warfare 3.

Granted, keep in mind that this is still just a leak. While TheGamingRevolution has been correct more times than not in the past, he’s also been incorrect about certain things.

The news of Modern Warfare 2 Remastered only remaking the Campaign seems to raise more questions about a possible MW3 remaster. It seems strange that Activision wouldn’t release multiplayer in one remake and then release it in another.

Modern Warfare 3 Remastered

Modern Warfare 3 has one of the most popular multiplayer modes in the Call of Duty franchise.

It’s also unclear when this rumored title would launch. Seeing as we don’t even have MW2 Remastered yet, it’s safe to say a Modern Warfare 3 Remastered is far away. In a perfect world, a longer wait may mean Activision has time to release the full game and not just the Campaign mode.
