Modern Warfare Rust Season Two Infinity Ward CDL call of duty league

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two releases tomorrow and Infinity Ward has shown us exactly what content is coming. This includes a roadmap for the different maps and Operators arriving this season. However, it appears that the developers are making more available upon the launch of Season Two. The roadmap shows that four multiplayer maps, a new CDL playlist, and the two new weapons are dropping with tomorrow’s update. So, what else is releasing with Season Two of Modern Warfare?

The roadmap for Modern Warfare Season Two

Last season, there was very little content for the launch of Season One. It appears that Infinity Ward has learned from its mistake as they’ve made much more content available. However, it’s not all of the content that fans can expect this season. Below, you can see a graphic for the entirety of Season Two.

The roadmap for Modern Warfare Season Two

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s coming tomorrow, Feb. 11:

Maps

  • Rust (Gunfight and 6v6)
  • Atlas Superstore (6v6)
  • Zhokov Boneyard (Ground War)
  • Bazaar (Gunfight)

Playlists

  • Gunfight Tournament
  • CDL Playlist

Operators

  • Ghost of Verdansk

Weapons

  • Striker-45
  • Grau 5.56

Modern Warfare Season Two

We knew much of the content above, but the CDL Playlist is a new announcement. Although, this doesn’t appear to be the long-awaited Ranked playlist that fans have been hoping for. Here’s the exact wording Infinity Ward used to describe the playlist: “Fight like the pros in this Call of Duty League ruleset playlist. In this playlist, the settings and available weapons, maps, and modes have been altered, so you can battle like the best of ‘em.”

So, it looks like Modern Warfare will still be without an official Ranked mode. Though, this will give players an opportunity to practice with the CDL rule set in public matches. We still have no update on an official Ranked playlist, however.

Modern Warfare Season Two releases tomorrow, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. PST.
