Niantic just revealed an exciting new format for Pokémon GO‘s GO Battle League called the Love Cup that begins on Feb. 8 and goes to Feb. 15.

The Love Cup is a special format to celebrate Valentine’s Day. To participate, players can only use pink or red Pokémon under 1,500 Combat Power (CP). Players cannot use any Legendary or Mythical Pokémon even if they do meet the credentials. Players will be eligible to climb and earn rewards as usual during the event.
