Rainbow Six: Siege‘s next update launches later this year. And after a tease from developer Ubisoft, we finally an idea of what to expect from it. For starters, the update is called “Operation Grim Sky.” The new season also adds two new operators and a reworked map.
Here are the operators coming Rainbow Six: Siege according to Ubisoft’s press release:
“The first Operator is a Defender from Great Britain. She’s a tough police officer who’s an expert on mob behavior and snatch-squad tactics. She knows she belongs on the front line and she won’t tolerate any nonsense.”
“The second Operator is an American Attacker, a specialist with a remarkably sharp mind when it comes to tactical operations. He has seen the worst in Kabul. Despite it all, he fell in love with the city. Legendary for his surgical precision, he remains an enigma within Rainbow Six.”
Ubisoft is reworking the Hereford Base map for Operation Grim Sky. The dev team is “renovating the place and making many adjustments to raise the bar for competitive play.” There’s also an emphasis on tweaking the various misalignments found on some weapon sights. Ubisoft will fully unveil everything about Operation Grim Sky at the Six Major Paris event next week. Stay locked into Daily Esports as further details about the upcoming DLC are revealed!
I was baptized in the world of gaming at the ripe age of four with an Atari 7800 playing Pole Position II and Galaga most days. Now, I can be found amidst the chaotic online shooter arena like the Destiny, Battlefield, Fortnite, and anything-Tom-Clancy scenes or a solid AAA campaign found in games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or God of War. My other passion for journalism syncs up with gaming nicely and is something I’m striving to expand on in the future.
