“Sceptic joined us a year ago and we want to express our eternal gratitude for everything he has brought to the team. It’s been a pleasure working with him and watching him grow,” wrote Misfits Gaming. “Sceptic, you’ll always be a part of the Misfits family and we’re incredibly excited to see what the future holds for you. We know you’re gonna smash it!”
Shortly before Misfits released their statement, Sceptic posted a similar message on his own social media. He says that he has decided to explore other options. However, he has not given any information on whether he will join another organization or go independent. He also thanked Misfits for all they have done for him the past year.
During the most recent Fortnite World Cup Finals, Sceptic and Cody “Clix” Conrod did not achieve the results they had hoped for. The duo placed 35th at the Duo Finals and took home $100,000. After the event ended, both of the Fortnite players posted statements to their social media accounts about the split.
I split with Clix, looking for a new duo that believes in teamwork and chemistry.

Sceptic announced he was looking for “a new duo” that believed in “teamwork and chemistry”. Clix also published a tweet of his own which has since been deleted. It described how he was “disappointed” with the actions of his former duo partner after the split. Clix has decided to remain with the esports organization along with Misfits’ third Fortnite player, Endre “Endretta”.
