“Unlimited was once part of our EU Challenger Series roster in 2016,” wrote SK Gaming in a press release. “Now, he’s back to the SK fam taking the role of Assistant Coach for our SK LEC team. Let’s welcome him, once again!”
Unlimited most recently played on SK Gaming during the 2016 EUCS Spring Split. They finished in 5th place but did not qualify in the 2016 EUCS Summer Qualifiers. Afterward, he coached Misfits Academy, which managed to qualify during the 2017 EU LCS 2017 Summer Promotion. Later he started coaching on Vitality Academy. The team placed 5th during the Summer Split, but they did not qualify during the 2017 EU League Championship Series.
During the 2019 LEC Spring Season, the team ended the split with a 6th place finish. The Germany-based esports organization went to playoffs but lost to Splyce in the first round. Coming into the summer season, the team replaced former top laner Jorge “Werlyb” Casanovas Moreno-Torres with Toni “Sacre” Sabalić. Sacre previously played for SK Gaming Prime, which is SK Gaming’s Academy team. Jorge “Werlyb” Casanovas Moreno-Torres has since also been demoted to the SK Gaming Prime team.
Andrei “Realistik” Ruse was promoted to head coach. Javier “Pyros” Quejigo Calatayud has also joined as an analyst. With these changes and the addition of Unlimited, the esports organization now hopes to achieve better results this split.
