Fortnite Star Wars Risky Reels

Star Wars is certainly making the rounds through the gaming community. Last month, Epic Games brought it to Fortnite when they delivered an Imperial Stormtrooper skin. This skin was to promote Respawn Entertainment’s upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. That partnership inspired yet another themed skin to arrive in Apex Legends. However, it doesn’t look like Star Wars is done promoting just yet, as something interesting has appeared in Fortnite‘s Risky Reels POI.

Star Wars to show exclusive scene in Risky Reels

While the Imperial Stormtrooper skin was to promote the new Star Wars game, this time around it’s a movie promotion. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases globally on Dec 20. The movie is wildly anticipated by fans across the world, as it’s the next installment of the world-renowned saga.

To celebrate its release, Fortnite is yet again collaborating with the pop culture phenomenon. On Dec 14, a week before the movie releases, Fortnite will show an exclusive scene premiere at Risky Reels. Twitch streamer HighDistortion has a video of the promotional poster, which you can find all over the map.

Risky Reels is Fortnite‘s sole destination for all things entertainment, as the location is focused around a drive-in movie theater. For the past week or so, Risky Reels has seen some construction go up around it. Many fans thought Epic Games was going to take away the location, as they did around the same time last year.

However, we now know that the construction is in preparation for the Star Wars-exclusive scene premiere. The event begins on Dec 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET. It’s advised to make sure you’re logged into Fortnite well before this time. The game’s servers tend to get extremely crowded right before an in-game event goes live.
