Twitch Fornite tournament

Get ready, Fortnite fans. Twitch has announced it is partnering with Epic Games for a huge Fortnite tournament. The prize pool is a whopping $2 million dollars, and will also feature Ninja, on its own Twitch Rivals channel.

This is not the first time Twitch Rivals has streamed esports tournaments. Earlier this year they hosted multiple PUBG and Starcraft II tournaments also, including a PUBG invitational in February that had an impressive  $100K prize pool.

This is part of Epic Games’s $8M Summer Skirmish Series, which began last month. Four tournaments will be taking place over the next two weeks. There are two for North American players, and two for European players. Each of those specific tournaments has $260K up for grabs from the overall $2 million prize pool.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is listed among the competitors for the first event, taking place on August 17. This sounds like a must-watch for fans of Ninja and Fortnite tournaments in general and is sure to attract a lot of viewers during the live stream. Will you be tuning into this? Let us know, and best of luck to all players involved.
