World Best Gaming has announced that Victoria “VikkiKitty” Perez will join the organization as an FGC brand ambassador and commentator.
World Best made the announcement on its Twitter page on April 25. The tweet included clips of VikkiKitty’s commentary from the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate North America Open at PAX East 2019, as well as humorous clips from her own personal stream.

VikkiKitty is the second Super Smash Bros. personality to join World Best, following Jestise “MVD” Negron, who joined as a professional Smash player on January 30. This also makes her the first Smash personality to join the organization in a non-competitive role.
VikkiKitty quote tweeted World Best’s original announcement minutes after it was posted, adding “I’m so excited to be working together with my amazing friend @MVD731.”
I’ll be commentating this weekend for my return at Come to Papa in Orlando, FL! https://t.co/haJLQEDAVI

Since she began commentating Smash 4 tournaments, VikkiKitty has become one of the most high-profile names in Super Smash Bros. This year, she has commentated at major Smash Bros. Ultimate events like Genesis 6 and Smash Ultimate Summit. Notably, VikkiKitty commentated the first ever competitive Smash Ultimate event, the E3 2018 Super Smash Bros. Invitational, along with Terrence “TKbreezy” Kershaw, Vish “Vish” Rajkumar, and Jordan Kent.
In addition, VikkiKitty is the most renowned female Smash commentator by far, and she is among the most popular female personalities in the Smash scene overall. Her success comes in spite of criticism from many viewers, including some who criticize the sound of her voice. VikkiKitty has learned to take such criticism in stride, and even joke about it; her pinned tweet reads, “I’m the one who sounds like a little boy when I commentate your matches.”
VikkiKitty is perhaps best known for her informative play-by-play commentary style, but she is able to adapt her style as needed for whomever she is commentating with. Even though English is not her first language, VikkiKitty is constantly working to improve her delivery and to grow as a caster.
Alongside her flourishing esports career, VikkiKitty has been working on a degree in mass communications and media broadcast at Florida International University in Miami. She is currently in her final semester there.
VikkiKitty will commentate at Come to Papa 3 in Orlando, Florida April 27-28, her first event as a member of World Best Gaming. The event will feature prominent Smash Ultimate players such as Samuel “Dabuz” Busby, Ezra “Samsora” Morris, and MVD.
