Fortnite Week 5 loading screen

Another week, another secret Battle Star lying somewhere on the Fortnite map ready to be grabbed. For the past three weeks of Season X, Fortnite has brought back the traditional way of finding the secret Battle Stars. As such, in order to search for it, you need to complete every week 5 challenge. Luckily for you, we covered these challenges and have two guides on how to complete the toughest ones.

Once those challenges are done, the secret Battle Star becomes available. While you could look for the hints yourself, why not follow this guide and save yourself some time? Let’s go over where exactly you can find the Season X week 5 Battle Star.

The Fortnite Week 5 Battle Star location

For the Battle Stars, Epic Games always puts hints to their location in the weekly loading screens. If you look at the above image, in the goo that is dripping down from the characters, you’ll find four separate coordinates. These coordinates match up to somewhere on the Fortnite map.

If you look closely enough, you can make out these four coordinates as E7, E8, F7, F8. This location is where you can find the week 5 Battle Star. If we look at the Fortnite map, the location we’re sent to is in the southern hemisphere of the island, northwest of Fatal Fields.

If this location seems familiar, its because there is a challenge in week 5 that directly interacts with it. In the “Search between a rotary phone, a fork-knife, and a hilltop house full of Carbide and Omega posters” Battle Pass challenge, the house on this hill is where the Carbide and Omega posters are.

If you walk east from this house, you’ll find a dirt patch that stands out amongst the grass near the edge of the hill. This is where you can interact with the Battle Star. Once you’ve done that, a free Battle Pass tier skip is yours! If your Battle Pass is already tier 100, you will receive XP towards your season level.

We hope this guide was helpful in your search! Make sure to keep up with Daily Esports for all Fortnite Season X coverage.
