Fortnite Winterfest Day 16 challenge ammo boxes

The Winterfest event is still ongoing in Fortnite, as Epic Games keeps rolling out rewards for players who complete challenges. The tasks aren’t too difficult but can take some time if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing or looking for. The same is true today, as players will need to search Ammo Boxes in various locations across the map. These locations aren’t named POIs so it will be time-consuming if you don’t know where to go. Fortunately, we do know exactly how to complete the Winterfest Day 16 challenge. So let’s hop in and take a look at where to find these Ammo Boxes.

Search Ammo Boxes at different locations

Unlike previous challenges, this one doesn’t require you to visit more than one area. Usually, Epic Games has you run around from spot to spot in order to complete the challenge. Today, however, you only need to know where one of the locations is.

There are three choices for where to search Ammo Boxes: The Workshop, Shiver Inn, and the Ice Throne. They’re all near named locations so they’re not too much of a hassle to visit. The Workshop can be found west of Weeping Woods and south of Holly Hedges. It’s fairly hard to miss thanks to its large size.

Fortnite Winterfest Shiver Inn

For the Shiver Inn, you’ll want to head southeast of Lazy Lake, past the river. On the mountainside is an ice-themed hotel, which is where you want to look. Lastly, the Ice Throne is the northern part of the map, just above Pleasant Park. At any one of these locations, search two Ammo Boxes, and the challenge is done!

Once you complete the Day 16 challenge, you’ll be rewarded with the Disco Dive Contrail, as seen below.
