The Fortnite World Cup continues. Week 4 is officially in the books and another group of players has qualified. This week of Duos competition provided the most entertainment of any. Big names headlined the leaderboards, while pairs of players displayed their skill and knowledge of the game. In NA East, the professional players of Chris “CizLucky” Perez and Craig “Brush” Hechmer, Nate Hill and Trevor “Funk” Siegler, and Williams “Zayt” Aubin and Rocco “Saf” Morales qualified. Their individual skill was impressive, but the teamwork of these duos was even more spectacular.
Thomas “Tschiiinken” Hörak and Klaus “Stompy” Konstanzer topped the EU leaderboards this week. The duo had already qualified for the finals, but that did not stop them from continuing to prove their ability. Stompy has also qualified for the solo tournament. Europe is arguably the most competitive division. It has the most number of players competing. For this duo to finish with 16 more points than the second place team is breathtaking. They are quickly making themselves a favorite to win the finals.
The players in bold have qualified for the Fortnite World Cup 2019 Finals in New York City, and those listed with an asterisk are already confirmed. The number of teams that qualify varies by region. For week 4 Duos the Oceania, Asia, and Brazil region did not receive qualifying spots.
Check out the scoring system for the events.
Each week we’ll recap the players who qualified. Keep up with Daily Esports for all your Fortnite news.
